Movies This Week – 30-10-19
So, the sequel to the Shining (Doctor Sleep) has finally arrived, only 39 years after the original. It’s a strange concept and always difficult for a director to be compared to someone as good (perfect?) as Kubrick, but… early word is that it isn’t bad? Other new releases this week include Brittany Runs a Marathon and the new Ken Loach Sorry We Missed You.
For all fans of Bruce Springsteen, you’ve a treat in store with the re-release of Western Stars. Full details of screenings can be found here.
Dates for all upcoming movies can be found here.
