Ok, it’s September and you know what that means? Festival season is upon us! The Tiger Dublin Fringe Festival starts on the 10th of Sept and runs through to the 21st. Don’t worry if you have nothing done. We’ll do our best to guide you through the next few weeks. We have our top five recommendations here.
For live music, we’d recommend Glen Hansard, Wallis Bird and Plaid. If you’re looking for something a little more odd ball, there’s the The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain at the NCH. The wonderful Spiegeltent has An Evening with HamsandwicH next Sunday. There’s also Music in Monkstown from September 9 – 11th with piano sensation John O’Conor, Soprano Mairead Buicke, London based Navarra String Quartet playing with John Finucane among others.
