We’re still recovering from a busy weekend with Forbidden Fruit, which was a lot of fun. So what next then? Well, if you want a road trip, the Borris Festival of Writing and Ideas is on this weekend, along with the Carlow Arts Festival.
In the live music scene, there’s Bryan Ferry, Neil Young and Candi Staton in town! There’s also the Bare in the Woods festival in Loais, with the Sugar Hill Gang as headliners! Grunge rockers Mudhoney are also in town.
It’s a slow week/ month for new Theatre, but we do have a few productions returning, with Portrait of an Artist as a Young Man at the New Theatre, amongst others.
The Patrick Hennessy Exhibition at IMMA is worth checking out. The RHA Annual Exhibition is in full swing.
