Electronic folk/trip-hop act Redder just released their debut album, ‘Walk Long Play’. The first single off the album is ‘Sold A Boy A Picture’.
There is a languid feel to their music, and something gentle and distant. They’re worth exploring, see what you think below.
Released last week, it’s a wintry, challenging and ultimately cathartic LP about the anxieties of living in a bleak part of the world.
The album includes latest single, ‘Let Us Get Out’, which received comparisons to Radiohead and The Antlers, and opens with ‘Sold A Boy A Picture’, which last week received coveted airplay on BBC 6 Music’s ‘Recommends’ show with Mary Anne Hobbs.
