‘What’s another year’ a wise man once said, and here at the workhorse we share Johnny’s emotion as it’s out with the old and in with the new! 2013 was always an odd number. There’s lots happening this week to celebrate the changing of the digits, possibly the biggest event is the 3 NYE Dublin festival which includes a Procession of light, concerts and a Big Brunch! Lets hope they get the weather for it, while the rain beats down against my window.
There’s also the First Fortnight Festival, which includes a variety of events around the city, including concerts, plays and movies.
Theatre
Confusion Boats seems the only new addition, as most of the theatres are still closed or showing Pantos! Confusion Boats asks why do some boys not cry and is part of the First Fortnight Festival.
