Things to do in Dublin this week (28-10-13 to 3-11-13)

This week it’s Halloween proper, with a variety of film festival and events around the city worth check out. There’s also UCD Science and Film Festival on in the Lighthouse and more than a few tasty gigs on around the city.



The Hanging Gardens by Frank McGuinness is at the Abbey – until Nov 9th, our review is here.

Three Penny Opera is at the Gate – until Nov 16th, our review is here.

Die Fledermaus is at the Project Arts Centre on November 2nd and 3rd.

Daylight Robbery and Bee Loud Glade are at Smock Alley.

Chancers is at the Viking Theatre in Clontarf, until Oct 30th – Nov 16th.

Waking Nosferatu is at the New Theatre from 21st Oct – 2nd Nov, our review is here.

Cabaret (from 28th Oct until the 2nd Nov 2013) is at the Gaiety Theatre

Cavalcaders (29th Oct to 2nd Nov) is at the Civic Theatre

Horrorthon is at the IFI today! Oct 28th.

Nosferatu – Murnau (1922) version and the Herzog (1979)  version are at the IFI this week.

UCD Science and Film Festival is at the Lighthouse cinema.

Frankenstein Festival is at the Lighthouse on Oct 31st.

Misery is on as part of the Lighthouse Book Club today (Oct 28th)

Rock Horror Extravaganza is a the Sugar Club on Saturday 2nd Nov.



Another good week of gigs ahead, with Suede, Youth Lagoon, Mmoths, Jeru The Damaja and Leo Sayer all in town! A pretty dazzling line up, you will admit.
