There was a time in my life where this would have sent me into a mild frenzy, but I think that time has passed. The new track has Kim Deal involved and Gil Norton producing (Bossanova and Trompe Le Monde) so it’s proper Pixies, no excuses. Initial thoughts… yeah, it’s alright. Have they changed or have I? I think it’s them if I’m being honest. Maybe it’s a grower, we shall see.

Update: It’s not Kim! It just sounds like her, Kim wasn’t involved. “I agree, it does sound a bit like Kim. But it’s my good friend Jeremy Dubs, one of the best people I’ve had the pleasure to know, both socially and professionally.” – Frank Black.
