Ok, the Fringe is over, and we’re sad to see it go. I enjoyed all the madness that it contains! Still, this week sees Arthur’s Day and the start of the Theatre Festival, so it’s busy once more!
Music – The Meteor Live sessions continue at the Workmans club this Wednesday (with tickets from the Paul McLoone show only). Arthur’s Day is Thursday, with various gigs in various locations, but they’re not telling us where. It features Ellie Goulding, Fatboy Slim, Primal Scream, Mika and Mumford and Sons. Heathers are in the Academy on Saturday. Yeasayer play the Button Factory on Sunday.
Movies – We’re almost at the end of the IFI 20/20 series, and this week brings us Persepolis, Run Lola Run and Pan’s Labyrinth on the big screen, so a few good ones. Rebecca is on at the Lighthouse on Wednesday.
Theatre – This week is all about the Theatre Festival, and the pretty impressive line up that comes with it. Out of the first week, I’d go for the Elevator Repair Services’ The Select, the corn exchange’s The Dubliners, the wonderful Pan Pan’s Everyone is King Lear in their own home and Anu’s The Boys of Foley Street.
Art – David Eager-Maher is at the Cross Gallery. Otherwise, Similar enough to last week with the Keith Wilson show at the Oliver Sears gallery, and RHA’s new exhibition of bright young things ‘Future’s 12′. Callum Innes continues at the Kerlin.
As ever, feel free to add anything I’ve missed in the comments section.

Thanks for the post. One day I’ll take a trip there.
Great! There’s a lot going on at the moment, so a good time to visit…
I’ve a fascination with Chicago ever since the Michael Jordan era Bulls team. I must get over there soon…
You explained here lot of things to do in Dublin. All the above ideas are nice, but there are many people who are not interested in these things. I have a good choice for them. Get it here http://blog.metrohoteldublinairport.com/?p=316
