Battles lost their lead singer when Tyondai Braxton left after their last album (2007), but did they lose their heart? Reviews of their last album are mixed and I wasn’t hugely convinced when I saw them at Forbidden Fruit a few weeks back.

Anyway, they’re back in town again, and play the Button Factory, on Saturday 19th of November for €18. It’ll sell out in seconds no doubt, so be prepared!

This song is still impossibly good though, even if when they play it live, they have the singer on screen/ tape (not really the same lads).
