I found out about this gig in a very old school fashion. It wasn’t from twitter, his myspace page or any other internet based method, but rather the board outside Soundcellar (a heavy metal based record shop that sells tickets) in Dubllin! He’s playing the Olympia in mid May (14th? I can’t quite remember) with tickets at 45 euro, which is a bit steep, but i’d pay it to see him! Should be fun.

Tommy in Soundcellar said he should have the tickets on Monday, but they weren’t on sale yet. I hope he’s right. Sufjan’s new album isn’t his best, but i’m sure he’ll be playing stuff from throughout his varied career, with a bit of luck.
