The Fringe festival kicks off today, with its usual line up of things I’ve never heard of and a pretty shocking web site that’s impossible to use. I’ll try to figure out if there’s anything good on over the next while, but i think i might need the real festival guide, as the site is truly rubbish. One event i am going to is Macnas, which looks like an outdoor carnival. Its free, which is always a good start and looks like an interesting event. Its being held in Collins Barracks at 8 tonight. A non ticket event, so you just show up! If the weather holds out, it could be good.

The music line up is here, there seems to be a focus on Icelandic music, which could be interesting. If anyone knows more, on what might be worth a visit, feel free to share!
