Album of the Week – 05/09/25

Another album from Big Thief (Double Infinity)? It’s actually their first since 2022, but that hasn’t stopped the band’s members from releasing several solo projects in the meantime.

The legendary David Byrne has just released “Who Is the Sky?”  There are also albums from Grant-Lee Phillips (In the Hour of Dust), Max Richter (Sleep Circle), Saint Etienne (International), and shame (Cutthroat).

but… it was impossible to ignore the new album from Suede with the cheery name of Antidepressants. You can hear some of it below, and read our review here.

Album of the Week – Suede – Antidepressants

“The album plays like a collection of future greatest hits; the only reservation is will it have the depth of other albums, which are slower to reveal their charms? It’s hard to see any Suede fan being disappointed with this.” Killian Laher from our review.

  1. To remain as relevant as they were in the mid 1990’s is nothing short of phenomenal. This is a superb album.
