New Music – From A Harbour Softly Drawn & Andrew Wild
by Killian Laher

This release introduces the new project of Fraser McGowan, who formerly recorded as Caught In The Wake Forever.  He now records as From A Harbour Softly Drawn.  His contribution to this split release is a wonderfully tranquil piece of ambient music, Blank Spots.  It’s largely electronic, with drifting synths and occasional guitar.  The flipside of this EP is another thing entirely, Andrew Wild – TEKEL (Seven Sisters) is a series of strange scratching noises, stretched out over 19 minutes.  It’s baffling.  You can check it out on Bandcamp.
