The Visiting Hour – Gate Theatre – Preview
While a number of theatre companies around Ireland have been quite active online in recent months, the Gate has chosen not to indulge in virtual performances… until now! This week sees the return of the Gate Theatre, even if the theatre itself is still off-limits. This new production stars Stephen Rea and Judith Roddy and was written by Frank McGuinness. As the name suggests, it’s based around a nursing home during the pandemic, so very much a work of its time!
