This is the week Summer finally arrives with the weather men/ women telling us to wear short shorts! We trust in them completely.

If you want to get to see theatre and enjoy the sun, there’s always Anu’s production of Glorious Madness. New this week, there’s Trainspotting in Smock Alley and A Month in the Country previews at the Gate. In Arabia We’d All Be Kings is in the Players Theatre.

More than a few monster outdoor gigs this week with the Groove Festival in Kilruddery House, AC/DC in the Aviva Stadium, Paloma Faith and The Frames in Iveagh Gardens, Paolo Nutini in Marlay Park. Should be more than enough to keep you busy below. Taylor McFerrin is in the Sugar club, if you want something a bit different.
