After the storm from yesterday has lifted, what better way to spend your day than watching theatre outside! Shiva Productions are back with more Angels in the Park, touring some of the nicer gardens around Dublin and Wicklow before finishing in Paris! See the full details below.
Shiva Productions Presents Angels in the Park – Angels in the Park, a hilarious and inspiring series of five 10-minute plays, is set to return this May to some of Ireland’s best parks.
Described as “a beautiful piece of work”, the series is back by popular demand after charming Dublin audiences last summer across some of the city’s most famous parks.
These beautifully crafted tiny plays will explore themes of mortality, family and the human need to connect. The series will show strangers influencing each other’s lives and subsequently changing them forever.
Presented by Shiva Productions, the plays were written by both new and established Irish writers including Peter Sheridan and Catherine Barry. They will also feature talented actors such as Rynagh O’Grady, Padraig Murray, Michael O’Sullivan, Joe Purcell, Ste Murray, Polly Lloyd, Muireann Darcy and Charleigh Bailey.
The five plays, which are a part of Angels in the Park, will be:
Angels in the Park by Graham Stull
Life After Fred by Colum Kavanagh
The Deal by Catherine Barry
Street Angel by Oliver McQuillan
Nobody Smokes Anymore by Peter Sheridan
The show will go on come rain or shine, so pack your brolly!
