The Theatre festival has come to an end for another year, but don’t lose hope! There’s still plenty on around the city. The Stanley Kubrick Season is at the Lighthouse has a few classics this week. Open House runs from Oct 17th to 19th, and allows you into a lot of quirky and interesting buildings around the city, with over 100 tours and other events. There’s also a festival of play and interaction at the Project Arts Centre called Prototype running from the 16th to the 18th of Oct. There’s also a Dublin Cocktail Festival from 13th – 18th October.
On the Musical end of things, Beatyard runs from Oct 16th to 26th, with DJ’s and Hip Hop sounds. Lingo is a spoken word festival which runs from Oct 17th to 19th at Smock Alley and the Workman’s club. If you’re looking for something a little more spiritual, there’s Diwali the Festival of Lights from Oct 18th to 19th.
