Are you one of those people that doesn’t bother too much with the support act, and just wanders in around 9 ish? You’re not alone from what I can see and if so, read on, as you could miss the quiet bit. The band behind the ‘Spin the wheel’ shows from a few years ago have a new gimmick this time out.

New Jersey indie veterans YO LA TENGO bring their unique two-part quiet & loud live show to Dublin next week, when the beloved trio play their rescheduled date at VICAR STREET on Thursday 5th December.

The band are touring their recently released 13th studio album “Fade”, playing an extended two-part show, featuring two contrasting hour-long sets – hushed acoustic, and ear-splitting electronic, – set against the quirky backdrop of tree-shaped cut-out stage props, reminiscent of cover art for their recently released album.

The show starts at 8:30pm (quiet set), and recommences after a short interval at 9:40pm (loud set).

Tickets are available on Ticketmaster from €22.50.
