Young Hearts Run Free – John Peel’s Shed – 25th Oct

Another date for your diary for the Young Hearts. If you haven’t gone to one of these nights, it’s about time you sorted that! This time out, along with the usual collection of the best of Irish music, they also have a theatre piece called ‘John Peel’s Shed’.

Our next Young Hearts event will take place on Friday 25th October, 2013 in the lovely Ionad an Phiarsaigh – The Pearse Centre, 27 Pearse Street, Dublin 2, for John Peel Day, and for the Simon Community, and it will feature a wonderful theatre presentation called John Peel’s Shed, by John Osborne, which has won lots of deserved awards, The Guardian said “If you ever need to explain radio’s sustained popularity to someone, suggest they listen to John Peel’s Shed” – and John is coming over from England to do a special show for us at 8pm, and after that show, we will be repairing upstairs at 9.15pm until late, and having some performances by

Live – Jetsetter, ANDERSON, Pearse McLoughlin & Justin Grounds playing Idiot Songs, Kevin Murphy (Seti the First) & Aki Aro, Radio presentation by Sounds Alive

DJ sets – Gavin Duffy, Nialler9, Peter Toomey & Daragh O’Halloran, Niall McCormack, thatboytim (Bop Gun)

Tickets are €20, and this is a very limited capacity event, so reservations should be made in advance by contacting youngheartsbookings@gmail.com.
