Daughter are another one of those bands playing a large venue before they’ve released their first album, and it’s sold out! Not quite sure how bands like these come about, but I guess they are creatures of hype to some extent.

Still, there’s substance behind the hype, and they’re definitely one to watch. Their first album is released in March (18th) on 4AD, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was one of the albums of the year! There’s a lot of the xx about what they do, but I think I prefer Daughter, if I had to choose.
