Is there anything the wonderful Neil Hannon and Cathy Davey can’t turn their hands to? They’ve managed to draw together some of the best of Irish musicians for the wonderfully fun album ‘Oscar the Hypno Dog and other tails’ which boasts “A dog isn’t for Christmas, but this album is!”

Conor O’Brien, David O’Doherty, Lisa O’Neill, Lisa Hannigan and Sharon Shannon are on the album, but how many will be in the Workmans club on Friday I’m not sure about. Neil and Cathy should be enough for most though (Conor O’B has also confirmed!). Should be a good night and all in aid of dogs in distress charity.
