Forbidden Fruit – 2012

Yes, it’s back and it’s bigger! The festival returns to Kilmainham for it’s second year, and is now a three day event, from the 2-4th of June. All the details are here, with early bird tickets going on sale tomorrow.

The list of bands looks promising, but possibly not as interesting as last year, and Monday seems to be the best of the days (imho).

June 2nd – Leftfield, Bloody Beetroots (I’d never heard of these before seeing them the second headline on the list, but possibly as I’m not into dance music), Booka Shade, The Field, Factory Floor…

June 3rd – New Order, Death cab for Cutie, Death in Vegas (two types of Death), The Rapture, Modeselektor, Atlas Sounds…

June 4th – Wilco, James Vincent McMorrow, Beirut (why is James ahead of Beirut?), Mazzy Star, Andrew Bird, Field Music…

Bloody Beetroots sound shockingly bad!
