It’s a good week at the movies, with a little something for everyone! Post Mortem is like by almost every critic I can find, and is the story of a mortuary attendant during the Chilean coup of 1973. It also looks lovely, as can be seen from the trailer below, wonderfully grainy and atmospheric.

Jane Eyre is yet another remake of the novel. The critics seem to think it’s a good ‘un, so if you’re into that sort of thing, blah, blah, blah. I wouldn’t be caught dead at it, especially if movies like Troll Hunter are released on the same day! Did you know that the existence of Trolls is covered up by an agency working for the Norwegian government? I guess it would damage their tourist figures. This is a found footage movie, in the style of a Blair Witch or Cloverfield. It looks kinda fun!
