With the news that I may have secured a bed in the vicinity (no camp sites for me!), I’m suddenly quite interested in Electric Picnic. The line up this year is, as ever, suited for the more mature audience, ahem. Basically it’s aimed at people in their 30’s, with lots of throw back bands such as this year, Pulp and the Chemical Brothers. Still, there’s more than enough going on to tempt the average music punter, with the full line up here.

The sad thing is the band I’d be most looking forward to seeing are in the small print down the bottom: Clap your hands, say Yeah’, Micah P Hinson, the Walkmen, John Grant, The Unthanks. Although Beirut and PJ can be good also, and their font is nearly the biggest going!
