Ok, a sad admission of guilt. I secretly hope that all the X-men movies won’t be trash, so that I can sneak off to them at some stage, and make my inner 12 year old all happy! X-men – the first class, is set in the 60’s and looks at the early days of Professor X and all the early mutants. It gets three stars of almost all the reviews I’ve seen, and that’s probably enough from me. As long as it wasn’t trash, I was always likely to go!

If you want to see anything that is actually good, it’s either Senna or Mammuth. One is a documentary on the driver and the other is a road movie with Gérard Depardieu. Either of them involve mutants with strange powers!
