Engine Alley are straight out of Kilkenny, hard to believe that they ever came from that particular spot. They had three albums, which is two more than i remember, and may well be the dodgiest band ever featured on this site, but once again, I was only small when they were releasing music, so I’m using that as an excuse.

They were destined for greatness, the same as all these bands, but sadly it never happened. The great man Bono signed them up to his Mother records, and their first album was produced by Steve Lillywhite. All good signs, but not enough.

They reform to play a gig in Whelans on July 23rd. The second video is their appearance on the Den, where they do a version of Dancing Queen.
