I’ve been listening to the Gold Panda LP, Lucky Shiner, recently. The nearest reference point would be (to these ears anyway) Manitoba’s LP, Start Breaking My Heart (for me, Dan Snaith’s best work – better than his later Caribou music which is also excellent – i just love SBMH’s warmth and overall feel). I heard Gold Panda mention that he loved SBMH too, so I thought it worth checking out his own music. Here’s one track from his album with a very fitting and effective fan-made video.
