PVT (formerly Pivot) are a band that changed their name to something that people can’t pronounce, so they’ll just call them by the same name they called them previously. Why did they do this?
‘In 2010, the group decided to remove the vowels from their name Pivot after a legal claim was made from an American band of the same name.’ How cool is that? Or should I say ‘Hw cl s tht’.
You can get some free junk from them here and you can hear their album streaming here. If you like what you hear, you can see them play as the first band at the new workman’s club (Sept 9th). I’m heading along, so I’ll see you there, if you do. They sound nice and odd.
-Update – Links now fixed, thanks john for pointing that out!

You missed a vowel in ‘for’! Actually, they might be on to something, words without vowels saves so much time and effort.

Did you make it to Neil last night? I forgot about it and then made other arrangements for last night. Sure he would have been good…
