Last time the Walkmen were in town, Roughan Sheedy very rudely organised his wedding for the same day. I’m well aware that he did this on purpose and that it was clearly just to annoy me! I did manage to get to seem them at last years ATP, and they very impressive, despite the sound system breaking down a couple of times during their session (opening night mistakes for ATP i guess).

They’re back in town, and despite their new album being a lot slower than expected, I still think they’ll be worth a visit. I can use the money i saved by not going to Arcade Fire i guess (hmm, still not sure about that one!). They’re playing the Tripod on 15th of November, and their tickets are a very reasonable 22.50 (plus booking fee). To be honest, i like them a lot more than Arcade, so I should be happy.
