The National preformed on Minnesota Public Radio, the other day, and there’s a very nice session lurking here, with a new song also! The new song is a called ‘You are a kindness’, which didn’t make it to the new album, but I’m sure will find a home with time. It also has a reworked version of Bloodbuss Ohio. You can hear the session here. There’s an interesting interview with them also, dealing with their song writing techniques and the like. No secrets given, but good to know how its done.
Songs performed: “England,” “Terrible Love,” “You Were A Kindness” and “Bloodbuzz Ohio.
I’m still hoping for a solo show from the band in Ireland later in the year, you never know. I know they’re playing in Electric Picnic, but I really can’t face it. hmm…
