Album of the Week – 30/10/26
This week sees new releases from Queens of the Stone Age (Perfecth), The Church (LACUNA). Why? are back with their 9th album called Oh Golly / Yes Lord.
There is a new album from the 9-piece folk band Shovel Dance Collective, and it’s worth a listen, despite some highs and lows.
For our album of the week, we’ve gone for DIIV with their album ZIRP! It’s not a massive change in direction for them, but it’s hard not to enjoy it…
Album of the Week – ZIRP! by DIIV
You can find our review by Killian Laher here.
“It’s excellent dreampop/shoegaze music, but you can’t help feeling that they could turn out a bunch of these songs in their sleep. But it will make anyone who enjoyed their other albums very happy.”
