Bored with football? Struggling with the rubbish in the cinema (yes, Supergirl, I’m looking at you). While July can be a bit of a cultural wasteland, the good people at Irish Modern Dance Theatre have their own mini-festival to keep you entertained. It happens on three nights, from July 6th (today) until Wednesday.

Now with a fully announced lineup, the programme boasts a line-up of over 22 Irish & Irish-identifying choreographers. Get ready for a 3 day programme of dance works celebrating the strength and diversity of Irish identity and the Irish dance landscape.

Now in its eighth year, Dancer from the Dance Festival of Irish Choreography is a series of mixed programmes or gatherings of Irish and Irish-identifying choreographers, crossing borders of ethnicity, dance practices, generations, genders and dance styles from Contemporary to sean nós to classical ballet.
