Album of the Week – 28/10/22

Another week with some great new sounds, including Guided By Voices (Scalping the Guru), Ásgeir (Time On My Hands) and Lee Fields (SENTIMENTAL FOOL). Closer to home, the great Aoife Nessa Frances has just released her second album Protector, which is well work a listen. JARV IS… (Jarvis Cocker if you’re wondering) has a new soundtrack to the film This Is Going To Hurt.

For our album of the week, we went for something a bit Trad, possibly for the first time ever? I’m sure Lankum could argue that. It’s the Mary Wallopers with their self-titled debut album.
