Mogwai’s Stuart Braithwaite Memoir – Spaceships Over Glasgow

Stuart Braithwaite from Mogwai has just announced his memoir Spaceships Over Glasgow. One of the foremost bands that came out of the so-called post-rock scene, Braithwaite is arguably the key figure in this predominantly instrumental band.

With over 25 years of music released, the band has gained an impressive reputation for their at times brutally loud live shows, as well as some excellent studio and soundtrack albums. The book covers Stuart’s upbringing in Glasgow, how the band came together and their musical journey which culminated in last year’s number one album As The Love Continues.

It will be published by White Rabbit on September 1st.
