It’s that time of the week! No More Workhorse has got your weekly television viewing schedule sorted with some of the best terrestrial and streaming shows available this week

Bridgerton – Netflix, Friday

A sizzling surprise hit of 2020, Bridgerton is what would have happened if Downton Abbey was produced for MTV in the 1990s. A story of the eight siblings of the powerful Bridgerton family and their quest for love in an alternative multicultural Regency-era England. This second series follows Anthony’s search for romance! With a newly rich family in the mix, get ready for a royal romp for the ages.

The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer Channel 4, Tuesday at 8pm

We return to the tent with a new batch of celebrities straight out of the oven to try and raise some money for Stand Up 2 Cancer, Channel 4’s annual fundraiser event to fund cancer research in the UK. DJ Annie Mac, actor Ben Miller, singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding, TV presenter Laura Whitmore, Olympic athlete Mo Farah, and writer and TV presenter Ruby Wax will test their culinary skills in a bid to win what will be an entertaining contest.

Then Barbara Met Alan – BBC Two, Monday at 9pm

A landmark drama based on the true story of disability activists Barbara Lisicki and Alan Holdsworth and their relentless campaigning across the UK in the early 1990s which eventually led to the Disability Discrimination Act passing in 1995. With a cast of disabled actors, this is a story about the fight for disability rights told by those it has affected most.

Ukraine: Voices from the Frontline – ITV, Sunday at 10:20pm

The war in Ukraine is one of the first wars that can truly be lived out and viewed in full online. With hundreds of images, videos and live streams being uploaded every day showing the true story of the Russian invasion, ITV has compiled these images to tell the story of the war from their perspective.

Doineann – TG4, Monday at 9:30pm

An Irish-language drama from director Damien McCann. We find out what happens when Tomas returns home to his remote island home he discovers that his wife and child have disappeared. Stuck on the island due to a storm he has to rely on the island community to help him find his family.
