New Music – King Buzzo (with Trevor Dunn) – Gift Of Sacrifice

Released on 14th August via Ipecac Recordings. 

King Buzzo (also known as Roger “Buzz” Osborne) is known as the singer and guitar player with the Melvins. On this album, he is joined by Trevor Dunn, who is a member of the experimental rock band Mr. Bungle, who have Mike Patton as lead vocalist. Dunn is a friend of Osborne for many years and has played live with the Melvins so this collaboration should come as no real surprise. This album is Osborne’s second under the moniker of King Buzzo, the first “This Machine Kills Artists” was released in 2014.

It’s a quirky collection of songs driven along by the intense vocals and brooding bass lines with many highlights. You can listen to the album below…
