Bewley’s Cafe Theatre @ The Irish Georgian Society

Live theatre returns to Dublin this Summer! First off, the productions will take place at the Irish Georgian Society as Bewleys Cafe is facing an uncertain future and is currently closed! The productions will observe all social distancing standards and will have a reduced capacity. The productions in question are The Happy Prince (August 5th – 15th) and The First Pegeen (August 19th – 29th). Full details can be found below.

The Irish Georgian Society is located at City Assembly House, 58 South William Street, Dublin 2.

As the country slowly opens back up, we are delighted to present two of our most popular lunchtime shows, THE HAPPY PRINCE and THE FIRST PEGEEN in the magnificent octagonal gallery of the Irish Georgian Society, from August 5th. These performances will play at 1pm, from Wednesday to Saturday, to a reduced audience, with distanced seating.

Tickets will be available online and via card at the door. Cash payments will be avoided. The performances will be less than an hour long.

An added benefit to the lunchtime show, will be Dublin Fragments: The Pearson Collection curated by artist Peter Pearson. This exhibition of architectural fragments and installations presents a dazzling display of Dublin craftsmanship and will form an impressive backdrop to the performance. Audiences are invited to enjoy the exhibition after the show!
