Theatre in Dublin this Week – 16-07-19
The world of theatre is mourning the death of Karl Shiels. Through his work with Theatre Upstairs he helped an amazing amount of young artists, giving them a start in a very difficult industry. It was not glamorous, nor was there any financial gain, this was done purely because he loved theatre and wanted to give something back. It was a true credit to the man and he will be missed.
Back to the business at hand, it’s another slow week, but fear not as Smock Alley have a couple of new productions to keep you amused, with Unfit for Purpose and These Stupid Things! Otherwise, it’s as you were. Expect more of the same in August, when things get very sleepy indeed!
