Album of the Week

Album of the Week – 26/04/19 – Aldous Harding – Designer

Designer – Aldous Harding – Album of the Week

Released on April 26th

For those that have been following the career of Aldous Harding, the quality of this album should come as little surprise. On this release, she is once more reunited with John Parish, producer of her previous album Party. The album was recorded over 15 days in Monmouth and Bristol.

It’s a slow and peaceful album that creates a gentle mood. With piano and vocal tracks like Damn that clock in at over six minutes, there’s no rush on anything happening here.

Other releases this week include –

Foxygen – Seeing Other People

Guided by Voices – Warp And Woof

Kevin Morby – Oh My God

Lamb – The Secret Of Letting Go

Local Natives – Violet Street

Marissa Nadler & Stephen Brodsky – Droneflower

Peter Doherty & The Puta Madres – Peter Doherty & The Puta Madres

The Cranberries – In The End
