Erased Tapes – 10th Birthday and New Compilation!

unnamed

Happy Birthday to one of my favourite record labels! Yes, Erased Tapes turns 10 and is marking the occasion by another one of their lovely compilation albums, which has such gems as Peter Broderick’s duo project Allred & Broderick, Rival Consoles, A Winged Victory For The Sullen, Ben Lukas Boysen, Douglas Dare and Immix Ensemble & Vessel, as well as a previously unreleased Ryan Davis remix of Erased Tapes stalwarts Ólafur Arnalds & Nils Frahm.

Go download it and check it out their new website here.

“On February 5th 2017 Erased Tapes reopen the doors to our new East London home, marking the 10th anniversary by introducing the world to our new Sound Gallery. Coinciding with the launch of a new website where you can download a new gratis compilation, we will also be celebrating with many festival showcases and other events to be revealed throughout the year. The new website officially launches on Saturday February 11th when we also open the doors of the Erased Tapes Sound Gallery to the public at 12pm noon GMT. Visit us at 174 Victoria Park Road, E9.”

Commencing these celebrations with a free compilation entitled Erased Tapes Collection VIII, we also welcome the iconic Penguin Cafe to our roster amongst tracks from new signing Daniel Brandt (of Brandt Brauer Frick) and Peter Broderick’s duo project Allred & Broderick. It also includes recent compositions by Rival Consoles, A Winged Victory For The Sullen, Ben Lukas Boysen, Douglas Dare and Immix Ensemble & Vessel, as well as a previously unreleased Ryan Davis remix of Erased Tapes stalwarts Ólafur Arnalds & Nils Frahm which was recently favoured by Aphex Twin and an exclusive edit of Woodkid & Nils Frahm’s score for JR’s Ellis, with spoken words by Robert De Niro.”
