This week is the start of Halloween proper, with the Horrorthon at the IFI and of course the Bram Stoker Festival which runs from the 28th to the 31st of October. Some of the best of the events include Bleedin’ Deadly at the Pillar Room in the Rotunda. Also, Behind The Dark which started life in the Fringe festival at few years ago in the Phoenix Park but is now in St. Anne’s Park. There’s lots more besides with a season of Monster Films at the Lighthouse and more.
Otherwise, there’s the return of Theatre Upstairs, which has Venom So Sweet until Nov 5th. It’s a good week for music with John Carpenter being the highlight, but there’s also The Hot 8 Brass Band, Le Galaxie, James Blake, Glass Animals and The Augustines.
The IMMA Collection Freud Project has already started!
