A week without a major festival in the middle of July? Yes, strangely it is true. Fear not, though, as you do have John Grant, the Stone Roses, Bell X1, Wilco and a few others beside. Really, you can’t complain about that lot!
There are a couple of new ones at the Theatre, with the return of Once to the Olympia the major event. There’s also Wrong Turn at Lungfish at the Civic and This Old Man at the Viking, among others.
The Patrick Hennessy Exhibition at IMMA is worth checking out.
