Fake It ‘Til You Make It – Pavilion, Dun Laoghaire – April 22 & 23 – Bryony Kimmings & Tim Grayburn

This production comes with a lot of hype and is arriving in Ireland for two nights only, April 22nd and 23rd in the Pavilion Dun Laoghaire. It’s a piece about mental health and has received rave reviews in the Guardian and Financial Times. Should be worth a trip to the seaside! Full details and trailer below.

After sell-out runs at Edinburgh’s Traverse Theatre, London’s Soho Theatre and a UK tour, BRYONY KIMMINGS and TIM GRAYBURN bring their multi-award-winning show Fake It ‘Til You Make It to Ireland, staging at Pavilion Theatre, Dun Laoghaire for two nights only on Friday 22 & Saturday 23 April. Each of these special shows will have thought-provoking guests, extra material and a special post-show panel specifically on men’s mental health, adding a new and unique dimension to Bryony and Tim’s biggest shows to date.

Bryony is an outrageous, hilarious and fearless performance artist from London. Tim is an outrageous, hilarious and fearless account manager from a top advertising agency. Bryony and Tim are a (real life) couple. Bryony spends most of her life on tour, trying her best to change the world. Tim spends most of his life at a desk trying his best to sell the world. Six months into their relationship, Bryony found out that Tim suffered from severe clinical depression, which he had kept a secret for a very long time.

A collaboration about clinical depression and men, Fake it ‘til you Make it is a warm and brutally honest show about the wonders and pitfalls of the human brain, the taboo of mental illness, being in love and what it takes to be a ‘real man’.
