Fractal joins forces with Scottish violinist Ian Peaston to present a concert of electric violin and electronics. Peaston’s idiosyncratic approach to classical, rock and contemporary music is unique, breaking down the worn formality of classical performance and interpretation to make something vibrant and intimate, to which Fractal bring their immersive approach to presentation, playing with intimate venues, visuals and communication. This concert features Peaston’s typically mixed approach to genre and style, plus a new work developed with composer Anna Murray, as well as improvisation with Murray on electronics.
“An extraordinarily versatile and creative solo performer. Amazing electric eclecticism.”
James MacMillan CBE
