Will Butler has moved out of the shadow of big brother Win. Will is a member of Arcade Fire and has just announced he will be realising a solo album. This is the first single from his forthcoming album, also called Policy, which was recorded in Electric Lady Studios in New York and features fellow Arcade Fire member Jeremy Gara on drums. The album is released on March 16 via Merge.

It’s surprisingly shouty! He really just bashes away at it, which in a word of carefully considered and delicate loops, it’s nice to get something a bit loose every once in a while. A man banging away at a distorted guitar. Enjoy!
