The wonderful Young Hearts have just announced details of their Christmas gig, and it sounds like it could be a humdinger! It takes place on the 6th of December (Saturday) and is back in Newmarket Co-op. A good night out and in aid of a good cause. Full details are below and a video you really shouldn’t listen to before December 1st!
We’re just sending word of our annual Yule – we can’t believe it’s the seventh! It’s been a busy year, and a memorable one, and we hope that you will come and join us on Saturday 6th December to have a bit of a dance, a tipple, a bit of cake, and enjoy some of Ireland’s most interesting artists, including;

The Spook of the Thirteenth LockWe also have the wonderful Withered Hand coming over from Scotland for his first Irish performance – his most recent record New Gods is brilliant, featuring members of Belle and Sebastian, Frightened Rabbit, and King Creosote.
And we have a special performance of Christmas Hearts – a song for Christmas, in aid of the Peter McVerry Trust – conceived by Niall C. Jackson, and featuring members of So Cow, Villagers, Fight Like Apes, Bouts and more, it gets released on 5th December, and we are so happy that it will be performed on 6th at Young Hearts.
We will also have SURPRISE guests, Young Hearts DJ’s, and other bits and bobs, all starts from 7.15pm at the CO-OP, 12 Newmarket, Dublin 8, and we go until 2.30amish.
