Sometimes you need a record that soothes the head. These can be hard to find. I’m thinking perhaps a Nick Drake record for example. But there is one that for me had become a little forgotten about. Released over 10 years ago in 2002, Beck’s album Sea Change is a brutal account of a hard break up. Revisiting it now I’m rediscovering how good this record is.
