The Dublin Theatre Festival is probably the main event in Dublin this weather, with events all around the city The Stanley Kubrick Season is at the Lighthouse, and I’ve been looking forward to this one for a while. There’s also some good gigs with Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh & Dan Trueman at Dublin Castle, Jozef Van Wissen playing Only Lovers Left Alive in Whelans and Avi Buffalo among others.
Hard Working Class Heroes runs from Oct 2nd to 4th. It aims to show case the best and brightest new talents in Dublin, and should be lots of fun. Don’t miss it!

Gigs
Couple of gigs really worth a mention this week. The first is Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh & Dan Trueman at Dublin Castle for the release of their new album (which is quite lovely!). The second is Jozef Van Wissen playing Only Lovers Left Alive in Whelans, which could be weird and wonderful. Avi Buffalo should be fun if you’re looking for some indie vibes
