Trailblazing vodka brand, Absolut and electro giants Le Galaxie are joining forces to host a party of mesmeric proportions on October 9th for the launch of the new single Carmen and the exclusive reveal of a collaborative project six months in the making, the Carmen video.

Playing live on the night, Le Galaxie will be joined by hundreds of invited guests as they take their place in the Academy, Middle Abbey St and the night transforms. Over the last six months, the collaborative video project known as Pulse by Absolut captured electrifying reactions of Le Galaxie’s fans to their brand new single Carmen and digitally transformed them with special effects, filters and finally polygonal shapes to include them in this futuristic video. Carmen is the latest single from Le Galaxie’s album, Le Club. The space-age electronica act’s partnership with Absolut puts them on a list of powerful collaborations with the Swedish brand which includes world-famous artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Jay Z and Icona Pop.

Their recent set at Electric Picnic, the amazing DJ sound-system concept LASERDISCO NIGHTS saw them pack 8,000 + into their tent for pounding techno rhythms, shimmering cyber-synths and a sci-fi inspired electronica light show. It has firmly established them as the best live dance act in Ireland right now. Speaking of the collaboration with Absolut, Le Galaxie frontman Michael Pope said “We wanted to do something different. Le Galaxie have always been heavily involved in the visual, interactive and inclusive parts of being in a band, and now with Absolut we have found the perfect collaborators. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be digitised and transported into the next Le Galaxie video!”
