This week is the first of the posthumous movies from Philip Seymour Hoffman. Strangely there are three more to come, but with two of them being the Hunger Games, this may be the best of them! It is also the directorial début of Mad Man’s John Slattery. Sadly, the reviews are pretty average, but with a cast as impressive as the one below, I’m tempted to go anyway.
Otherwise, there’s Lilting which comes recommended, Wakaloda (The German Doctor) and a few other kids ones. Not a classic week, but nice to see Philip for almost the last time. He was one of the best of his generation!
